Did You Know…?

-Leonardo da Vinci spent 12 years painting the Mona Lisa’s lips?

-Pablo Picasso Loved animals? Throughout his adult life he owned a pet monkey, an owl, a goat, a turtle, and several cats and dogs.

-The first pencil was invented in England in 1565.

-Some credit Leonardo da Vinci with inventing high heels. Royalty would wear them to appear taller – hence the term “well-heeled”.

-Jackson Pollock’s painting “Number 5, 1948” is valued at $140 million. Here it is:
