Nine-year-old Keaton Hamin is one of the most selfless hockey fans in all of Canada. He recently won a hockey stick signed by the team’s Tyler Myers during a Winnipeg Jets game. It was such an awesome gift that seven-year-old Alyx Delaloye couldn’t wait to run up to Keaton to take a look at the stick. But she never expected what happened next. Keaton noticed that Alyx was fighting cancer, and after seeing Alyx’s admiration and excitement at his hockey stick, Keaton followed Alyx back to her seat and handed her the stick as a gift.
This little boy’s gesture just shows that compassion and kindness is not lost in the younger generation. In fact, us older folks might learn a thing or two from them!
