Behold The Power of Family! NHL Player’s Daughter Pleads To Have Her Daddy Traded To The Hometown Team.

MN native Jordan Leopold has been playing hockey this year with the Columbus Blue Jackets. His 11 year-old daughter, Jordyn, wrote a letter to the coaches of the MN Wild asking for them to make a trade so her daddy could be at home with his family. Her mother posted the letter to her Facebook page, thinking it was just a cute plea (and it is!):

Well, sure enough it spread. The Wild coaches and management saw it and the Twin Cities sports station, KFAN, read it on the air the day of the trade deadline. And just like that, Jordan Leopold is now a member of the Wild and, more importantly, a little girl has her daddy back home!
