We’re not sure if Duncan is still on the Santa bandwagon or not. He may be catching on to the handwriting on the tags or the wrapping paper. We didn’t buy any new “Santa paper” this year. He puts up a good front if he’s not believing anymore. Plus he gets what Santa is all about…
(BTW – Santa’s birthday is March 15. At least that’s the day St. Nicholas was born so we went with it.)
We always have a good time at Christmas. The in-laws were in town for the week so many adventures were had. He did get to open a couple of presents early – passes to the nearby indoor driving range (from mom), and a new set of golf clubs (from Grandpa). Mainly because Grandpa wanted to go shoot a bucket of balls. Duncan got right into the “swing” of things as well.
He’s looking forward to summer already to try them on the course!
We met up with Suzanne and Grandma for lunch at a new place in town. 3 of us had Short Ribs Eggs Benedict…
Duncan, being the adventurous eater he is, tried the Bi Bim Bop – A Korean staple.
Also super delicious!
And then home to make dinner! 🙂 It is all about the food!! We’re still plowing our way through cookies and such. Soon it will be time for sit-ups. :/
